THSS DOUBLE DEUCE Category Rules & Guidelines
With the current strain on ammo and reloading components, THSS is offering up the use of a .22 rimfire revolver or rifle as a substitute for your pistol caliber revolver or rifle for monthly matches. You may use one or more .22 rimfire pistols or rifle to participate in this category, you don’t have to use all .22 rimfire firearms. Using at least one .22 rimfire firearm puts you in the Double Deuce category. Double Deuce will be a standalone category.
- Ammunition: Standard .22 caliber long rifle (no hi-speeds), “lead bullet only” (including copper washed bullets).
- Revolver: One or two SASS legal .22 rimfire single action revolvers. If the revolver will hold more than six rounds, only five will be loaded.
- Rifle: .22 rimfire lever-action rifle, or pump action, with exposed hammer.
- Shotgun: Any SASS legal shotgun.
- All SASS and THSS safety rules apply.
