It’s time to get those long guns and pistols ready for some cowboy action shooting with the Texas Historical Shootist Society (THSS). Our monthly weekend match will be this Saturday, October 18 & Sunday, October 19.
Shooters’ Meeting each day is at 8:30 am. Price is $20 for THSS members, $25 for non-members, and free for spectators.
SASS Wild Bunch option on SUNDAY
If you have been to THSS at a monthly or annual match, you may have seen a special THSS variant of Wild Bunch using both a revolver and a 1911. SASS Wild Bunch works a little differently. Up until now, we only offered SASS Wild Bunch at our recent Trailhead events.
For the Sunday October monthly match, in addition to the standard stage scenarios, we’re going to offer competitors the opportunity to compete in the SASS Wild Bunch categories and see how well it’s received. Bring enough ammo for three 1911 magazines for each stage.
