November Matches and Turkey Shoot This Weekend

It’s time to get those long guns and pistols ready for some cowboy action shooting with the Texas Historical Shootist Society (THSS).

Our monthly weekend matches will be Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21. You compete either day or both days.

Shooters’ Meeting each day is at 8:30 am. Price is $20 for THSS members, $25 for non-members, and free for spectators.

TURKEY SHOOT

After the main match is finished, we’ll have a turkey shoot competition. Five people get one shot, closest to bullseye wins. $5 per person. So bring your most accurate pistol along for the day. Gobble gobble!

Honoring Veterans

At our November matches THSS will be honoring cowboy & cowgirl shooters who are military Veterans. Each Veteran will receive a $10 discount for their choice of one of the match days in November. Each person in attendance will receive a flag pin. We all owe a debt of gratitude to those who have given a part of their lives in service to our country!
