DESCRIPTION:August is the hottest month of the year for most Texans\, so we dress a little different for this event at Gunsmoke.  You can wear as much\, or as little\, Hawaiian theme clothing as you want. The only requirements are that you must wear your hat\, boots\, and gun leather. \n \n\nThis year\, Doc Boedecker came up with the idea to have an Old West Bathing Suit competition\, so dress that style if you can. An Internet search for “Victorian Bathing Suit” will help you find just the right striped onesie or bathing costume.  Should make for quite a photo! \n\nAnything else goes\, Hawaiian print shirts\, tank tops\, grass skirts\, shorts\, swimsuit\, you get the idea. Come on out and have some fun\, the wilder the outfit\, the better. Naturally\, this is all volunteer\, not a requirement. DESCRIPTION:The final day of Trailhead 2016 features three different side matches.  The fun starts at 9:00 am. \nMaster Gunfighter  \nThis “mano y mano” match pits two shooters against each other to see who can shoot five drop down targets in the fastest time.  Shooters pair up and compete\, winner moves on. \nCouples Shoot \nThis is a fun husband-and-wife match where couples work together on a stage that uses several buildings at Gunsmoke.  Teamwork is key\, as sometimes they might have to do humorous things such as hold hands when moving between buildings. \nTeam Shoot \nCompetitors are randomly drawn into groups of four and compete against the other groups.
