Registration at 7:45a\, safety meeting at 8:45a\, lead flies shortly after. 1st Place Black TSRA badges will be awarded after the match. \nSaturday\, the 18th: Six stages of TSRA/CAS-SASS Rules. Registration at 7:45a\, safety meeting at 8:45a and lead flies shortly after. \nSunday\, the 19th: 4 stages of TSRA/CAS-SASS Rules. Lead flies at 9a. Lunch at 12:30p. TSRA/CAS Annual Meeting at 1p. Colorado Jackson\, TSRA/CAS Director is up for re-election\, but must be nominated as well with anyone else who wishes to be elected as a director. Buy Stretch Raffle tickets for prizes to include a 1903 military rifle in mint condition and we will have a new M-4 rifle to be auctioned off. Work involved is everything from general carpentry to preparing shooter packets and brochures. Any help is greatly appreciated. \nWork parties start at 9 am each Saturday and generally run until early afternoon. Lunch for workers is provided. \nEach time you help at a work party and arrive on time\, you receive an additional entry towards winning a free gun. SUMMARY:2017 TSRA Cowboy Action South Central Regional Match
DESCRIPTION:Gunsmoke\, Texas will be the host of the Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA) Cowboy Action South Central Regional match on Saturday\, November 18\, 2017.  It will be a one day\, six stage match.   \nThe following day\, Sunday\, November 19\, is the THSS November match. Shooters that compete in both the TSRA match and the THSS match get a $5 discount on the THSS match\, so make it a full weekend of cowboy action shooting! \nTSRA Membership is not required to participate\, however there will be applications available should you wish to assist the fight for Second Amendment rights in Texas. \nOn-site registration begins at 7:45 am\, followed by a safety meeting at 8:45 am.  Award Certificates for 1st Place. Free TSRA 2018 State Championship entries to be given to the Top Male and Female Overall. Lunch is available for a fee. \nAfter lunch\, there will be the famous TSRA Balloon Shoot. Using wax bullets and pistol supplied by Ghost\, if your ticket is drawn\, you will get one shot to burst one of six balloons with CASH and other prizes inside. \nAll SASS categories will be honored. \nClick on the icon below for the application.

SUMMARY:THSS August 2017 Match (Hawaiian/Swimsuit Theme)
DESCRIPTION:Theme: Hawaiian / Swimsuit \nShooters Meeting: 8:30 am \nCost: $15 for THSS members\, $20 for non-members\, Free for spectators \nOptional: $8 for catered lunch \n  \n\nSince the August match is one of the hottest matches in terms of temperature\, it is also the THSS Hawaiian Shoot. The normal cowboy dress code is relaxed. You can wear as much\, or as little\, Hawaiian theme clothing as you want. The only requirements are that you must wear your hat\, boots\, and gun leather. \nThis year\, Doc Boedecker came up with the idea to have an Old West Bathing Suit competition\, so dress that style if you can. An Internet search for “Victorian Bathing Suit” will help you find just the right striped onesie or bathing costume.  Should make for quite a photo! \n\nAnything else goes\, Hawaiian print shirts\, tank tops\, grass skirts\, shorts\, swimsuit\, you get the idea. Come on out and have some fun\, the wilder the outfit\, the better. Naturally\, this is all volunteer\, not a requirement. If you want to shoot in your regular cowboy clothing\, that is fine\, people can do whatever they want. \nThe match will be Sunday\, August 20
