Country Girl Linda and Mamie Fosset met at Gunsmoke in 2001 when Linda and husband Danny "Danny Ringo" Hass joined THSS. Carla joined THSS when she married Danny "Longhair Jim Cortright" Boyd at Gunsmoke in 1999. Longhair Jim is one of the charter members of THSS. After joining THSS, Country Girl Linda introduced Gunsmoke Exchange interactive website for "members only" to THSS. This website is powered by MyFamily.com. Mamie found an interest in the site so Country Girl Linda invited her to become a co-administrator. They both take many of the photos posted on Gunsmoke Exchange and that are now on this site. Norma "Prissy Pearline" Lenz helps with the photos also. Mamie and Country Girl Linda worked with the Exchange for several years. When THSS officers discovered that their public website needed some work, they asked Mamie to work on it. Mamie asked Linda to help. Together they have put together this new revised website for Texas Historical Shootist Society in 2005.
