Friday
CAS ™ Shoots start
The Brigade raised our flags for the first official day of
Cowboy Action Shooting at Trailhead. Notice the brisk breeze that blew
the flags. It was blowing like this all day Thurday and was cold.
Early Friday morning it was blowing but then slacked off to very
pleasant day.
During Opening Ceremonies President Catfish Doyle
presented rep from Marlin Firearms with THSS Badge in Thanks for the
sizable donation to THSS.
Vice President Ethan Edwards and Clementine. A
very hard working couple that made this Trailhead a success.
Two volunteers with Secretary - Hanna Call to the left.
Trailhead is dependent on it's THSS volunteers. Thanks to all making this year runs so smoothly and safe. It was exciting and fun for all.
Secretary and his crew in the Office at Gunsmoke worked
hard keeping the scores for Trailhead so we would know who would win the
awards for this year.
Doc Boedecker and Lady Clementine. Our official
Doctor in charge of the First Aid Tint at Trailhead. He was the
least busy of all our helper this year since we had NO medical incidences.
But it is always great having him her just in case.
The Hangman is having a problem. His prisners
compadres are trying to rescue their friend. Then Hangman had to
shoot them in order to get his man hung. Well the scenario at the
Gallows was something like that.
The Outhouse was one of the favorite stages. The
shooter just could not keep their drawers up and shoot at the same
time. Nine Toes and Presidio were the Stage Marshalls.
Better not mess with these here gals. They can
give you what fur!
Mrs Seldom Seen was back this year to spin her yarn and
talk to the visitors about how life was for the ladies during the
1800's

Most Original. Mrs. Seldom Seen designs her own clothes and
makes them herself. She told me parts of this dress from her
mothers curtains. Sound like some 1800's heroine to me.

About photos: I take as many photos as I can at each event I attend. I am
not at every event so I need your help! Pease email photos you have taken
or post them at Gunsmoke Exchange. We don't have room for all the photos
everyone takes, as photo editor and webmaster, I will post those that are
adaptable to the internet and most likely to be enjoyed by the largest number of
site visitors. Thanks for your help! Country Girl Linda
