September 2005

We have a morning meeting at 8am. Our
President and other officers tell about upcoming events, pass
out the posse assignment and safety reminders |
 |
After monitored loading at the loading tables the
posse starts their shoot by saying their lines. The
Shooter has to "say his or her lines" before the timer
starts. This get quite hilarious at times. No he is not
drinking. These are saloon props. |
 |
The shooter proceeds to follow the scenerio and
shoot his pistol, in this case out of one of the Saloon windows. |
 |
We have young shooter. They must be
accompanied by a parent during the whole shoot process. In this
scene the young shooter is shooting his rifle. |
 |
The unloading table is where each shooter unloads
and has his guns check before by another shooter before he
leaves the table. |
 |
September is always a very hot month. This
year was no exception. Here is our posse for the month. |

This is the Loading Table. Each shooter is
check that she or he has the correct amount of bullets in their
guns. The guns stay on this table till the timer says
Shooter Up. |
 |
Shooter takes, in this case, her guns and places
them where the scenario instructs before starting her scenario sequence. |
 |
Shooter carts are for carrying the shooters guns;
pistols, rifle and shotgun. They can be unique, like this
one, or very simple as long as they can carry your guns
safely. |
 |
Some of our Shoot months have themes. August
is our Hawaiian Shoot. The only shoot where short plants
and short sleeves are allowed. |
 |
We have had guest from all over the world.

About photos: I take as many photos as I can at each event I attend. I am
not at every event so I need your help! Pease email photos you have taken
or post them at Gunsmoke Exchange. We don't have room for all the photos
everyone takes, as photo editor and webmaster, I will post those that are
adaptable to the internet and most likely to be enjoyed by the largest number of
site visitors. Thanks for your help!
