This keeps a safer environment for our members to interact. Gunsmoke Exchange is a great place for all the THSS members to meet and share the latest scores, ideas, the shoot news, outside club activates, their guns, their costumes and photos. It is the greatest interactive message board on the web today.

What does Interactive mean?

Once you become a member, you can read all the posts, see all the photos, and reply to them, as only other members can see and reply to them (much like any Message board) only much better.  It is very user friendly.  It is NOT a chat room.  It has the following permanent interactive topics: Calendar, Photos, News, History, File Cabinet, Reviews, Recipes and Polls. Gunsmoke subjects: Welcome – Introduce Yourself, Site Info, Official THSS Club Activities,  SHOOT SCORES, Gunsmoke Work Days, Let’’s Talk Guns, Lets Talk Costumes, History of THSS, Some Things Just For Cowboy Fun, just to name a few. More can be added as needed.

As of May 5, 2006 this site is a Super Site with no banners. It is powered by MyFamily.com and is Interactive between members and started by Administrators. Our administrators are: Mamie Fosset, and the officers at THSS. This site belongs to all its members. The members keep the site active and interesting by posting new posts and replying to other posts. Don’t be scared to ask questions, the only dumb question is the one not asked, others may want to know the same thing.  There will always be someone here to answer. We would like to invite you to join the fun at our interactive and informative website.

How do I get Invite to Gunsmoke Exchange?
To be invited you must get certain information to the site administrator. We have signup sheets at Gunsmoke in the Marlin building or just got to our Public Invitation Page http://www.gunsmokeexchange.org  Once there you will get full instructions on how to get an invitation to Gunsmoke Exchange.
You must provide this information…
*First and Last name
*Your Cowboy alias
*Your THSS membership badge number (if  you do not know your badge number email our Secretary “Humdinger Ringer” to request your badge number)
*Your Email address
*Phone number
*You will be invited using only your Alias, it will be more fun this way. I would suggest however that you print out the invitation with your ID & Password, if you choose a new ID & Password be sure  to write it down and keep this information in a safe place for future reference.
*When it asked if you would like your computer save your ID & Password click No, this is to save you greif if someone hacks your computer, never let your computer store this information for you.
*Once you get to the Front Page STOP and save it to your favorites.
*Once you get use to the site go to your Member Page. Fill in only the information you feel comfortable with. Be sure to put your real name, alias, and badge number on the members page.
*How do I find the Members Page? Click anywhere you see your name underlined.  At the top of any Gunsmoke Exchange website you will see members in the Tool Bar.  Click Members and scroll until you see your name that is underlined.  Click your name. Any of these will take you to your members page. Click Edit Info.  Fill in the member info there.   You should put  your real name under Notes and  your mailing address so that we will all have a THSS telephone/address book of its members.  Add your THSS member # and SASS #.  The other info you can add if feel comfortable with this.  It will help us all get to know each other better.  Being a part of MyFamily.com does not get your name on any spam lists. The only people that see this page are other THSS members.
