Using our form is the easiest method of entering comments into our Guestbook, however, if you use web based mail such as hotmail or yahoo, you will need to follow other directions. Click Here

Our Form

After you fill in the form, and click the button to send, your own email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora or whatever you use on your computer) will be asked by the form script to send an email to our webmaster with your comments.

We do this for one reason; to eliminate the spam hitting the guest book for everything from "cheap drugs on the internet to finding a date and worse!"
By requiring a poster to reveal his or her own email to us, it does eliminate posts that nobody wants to read in a guestbook. 

This is what happens as you "send" the contents of the form.

When you click send.

Your email client is contacted by the script I (Diana Petersen, webmaster) have written. This script writes the form contents to an email for you. You will be sending the form contents from your own email. The script Diana wrote asks your email to get the contents, write it into an email and sends it to Country Girl Linda, webmaster. The script does nothing else. It leaves no cookies or any .exe on your computer. 

Several small dialog boxes will appear on the screen. 

The first is:

Needed entries have been verified. Your form is now being passed to your browsers mail delivery sub-system. (this is your own email client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, or any other program that you open on your computer to send and receive email, without opening your browser.)

Next, you will see:

This form is being submitted using email. Submitting this form will reveal your email address to the recipient, and will send the form data without encrypting it for privacy. You may continue or cancel this submission. This means we will know exactly who sent the submission. We do not keep your email address. We will send you an email letting you know your submission has be accepted and has been posted. We do not add your email address to a "list", it is not saved, sold or otherwise used. We simply ensure you are not a "spammer" and notify you of acceptance of your comments.
Most email is not encrypted, it is not needed for ordinary email.

Finally, some people will see (this depends on what version of Windows or other Operating System you have, as well as your security settings) this final dialog box:
